Virtual Gifts

At Hobbitstee we go through a lot of supplies to ensure that the animals in our care as comfortable as possible. Virtual Gift Giving is a great way to help us provide the supplies we need so much for the wildlife we care for and it is a great way of giving a meaningful gift.

All virtual gift givers will be emailed a certificate they can print at home or for a fee we can mail the certificate to the person who is receiving the gift.

The gift of a meal

Your $5 gift will helpt to provide a food for a day for one of the wild animals in our care. We aim to provide a well balanced diet for all our patients with food sources they would consume in the wild. Your donation will go towards purchasing what we need to achieve this.

The gift of bedding

Your $10 gift will help to provide bedding for one of the wild animals in our care. We use a large variety of sources for bedding. We use straw, wood chips or shavings, but also sometimes simply papershreds or towels. Your donation will go towards purchasing the types of bedding we need.

The gift of a house

Your $25 gift will helpt to provide a squirrel or bat house. Each squirrel or bat we release gets released with a house which we mount in a tree at the release location. This ensures that these animals have a safe place to stay while they learn to be back in the wild. You can imagine that we go through a lot of them this way, but we feel it gives these animals the best chance for survival.

The gift of milk replacer

Your $50 gift will help to provide milkreplacer for one of our orphaned mammals. We stock a large variety of species specific milk replacers to ensure we achieve optimum growth in our mammal orphans. Many of these milkreplacers are custom made.

The gift of medical supplies

Your $75 gift will help to provide the medical supplies we need to care for our sick and injured wildlife. We use a large variety of splinting materials, banadaging material, needles & syringes and much more. Some items we get donated, but many items we have to purchase.

The gift of medicine

Your $100 gift will help to provide the medication we use. Many of our animals require pain medication, antibiotics, antifungal or antiparacitical medication. These medications are expensive, but crucial to care of the animals.
