| Like the name indicates, the Alpine goat originates from the Alps. These goats are known for their somewhat pushy and dramatic attitude. The Alpines tend to be good milkers and may come in any color pattern except for all white.
| This breed originates from the Toggenburg region in Switzerland. This hardy breed is one of the oldest known dairy breeds. They tend to be a bit smaller than most of the other Swiss dairy breeds, but they are good milkers with an often overly curious disposition. All Toggenburgs are brown with white facial stripes.
